I will overwhelm 'serious combatant' Paul - Joshua
The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the pair met personally to promote next month's bout.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
